Our prayers have been answered...

I have great news to share with you!! Last week, on the day that RJ left on the trek with the youth from our stake, I got a call from our mortgage company. It has been a FULL year of fighting with them over getting a loan modification. But I FINALLY got a call from a real loan processor with real answers. He even gave me a real phone number & real fax number to his real desk where I could call him directly with "any questions or concerns." This man told me that he had "taken our file and would be handling it personally. He would have answers for us in regards to our loan within a week."

I was soo soo sooo excited. Really, I was floating, ecstatic all day long. (And dying because I couldn't share the news with RJ for 4 more days when he returned from the trek). I felt humbled by the faith of my husband. I felt very strongly that this was an answer to our prayers because RJ had being so willing to go on the trek & serve the Lord. I know many people would say that this is just a coincidence but I don't think so. I felt very very strongly that this was a blessing from trek. I also felt so grateful to our friends & family for their thoughts and concern for us over this past year.

Well...first thing this morning @ 9:04am to be exact, less than a week after the initial call from our loan processor. I got a second call from him telling us that we had been approved for an in-house loan modification. As he went over the details with me I couldn't help but get teary. It is a great modification, better than we could have hoped for. This loan modification will ensure that we have an affordable payment & that we can keep our house. It is wonderful & amazing news!!

Thanks so much to everyone for your thoughts, prayers & concern. RJ & I are truly, truly grateful for this wonderful news!! It may not be the biggest or the fanciest house, but this is our dream home. We LOVE everything about it!! We love our ward, we love our school, we love our friends, we love our pool. We love our neighbors & our neighborhood...we LOVE IT ALL and are so happy that we will be staying here!! We bought this house, hoping to stay here for our kids to grow up in & it looks like that's going to happen. We are also very grateful that we won't be moving during the middle of an AZ summer ")
