It has taken Easton 2 years to get up the courage to even try to learn to ride a bike. I don't know why? He's been cruising around on his razor scooter since he was 4. But for some reason he had NO interest to learn how to ride a bike. Until last night. After an evening of riding the go-cart, RJ tried again to get Easton to try out his bike and for some reason, this time, he agreed. It didn't take long for him to pick it up. RJ only had to put two fingers on Eastons back, while Easton peddled up and down the street, so he thought he was being held up. Easton quickly picked it up. To Easton's surprise, riding a bike was easier than he thought it would be.
After we came in from an evening of Easton trying out his new "skill", he called Coach Grandad & Gramma Holly, and Grammy & Grandpa Jensen to share his exciting news. He had to leave a message for Grammy & Grandpa cause they were not home and it went something like this "Hi Grammy, just wanted to let you know that I learned how to ride a 2 wheeler tonight. I am so proud of myself."
Before bed, Easton informed me that on his way into the garage to park his bike he almost cried "tears of joy" because he was so excited that he FINALLY knows how to ride a bike. Too cute...my sweet little Easton...I am so very proud of you!!
(By the way...sorry for the horrible pictures. I've only had the new camera 24 hours so I don't know how to take evening, movement pictures yet :S)

Way to go Easton! So there IS hope after all? Ryleigh just turned 7 and has no interest what so ever.
Hi there!! I actually want to comment about your "weight" post a couple weeks ago. I, too, am carrying around an extra 40 lbs. I, too, feel big and slow! Doesn't it suck?!
Lets lose it together! I don't know anything at all about WW, but I know I don't eat what I should. And let's don't even TALK about exercize! Ugh.
I'm going to see if I still have your email...
OK, where did I learn to spell?
ExerciSe!
I knew I hated that word.
