Guys Night-WWE

When RJ & I were dating in high school, one of the first things that he did alone with my Dad (without me there) was go to a WWE event. I know, it is so wierd. It's particularly weird because my Dad was a Bishop at the time (if I remember correctly) and had never done anything like that before with my two older brothers. I can't even remember now how RJ got the tickets but he and his best friend Scott took my Dad to a wrestling match. To this day, they still talk about it and laugh about how much fun they all had that night, 16 years ago. Some people called "The Bushwackers" licked RJ's forehead and something fun happended while they we in the elevator...I don't know. I just know that it made some sort of impression in both their lives.
Last Monday night, RJ got tickets (from Cox...of course) and took Parker to see his first wrestling event. It was "Monday Night Raw". Which was broadcast from Phoenix because the night before all the wrestlers were in town for Wrestlemania. Which RJ told me is like the "Superbowl of Wrestling." Wrestling is something that I will never get into or understand. I can do football, baseball, basketball, even hockey but I will never understand the appeal to wrestling??
However, both RJ and Parker had a fabulous time. Apperantly the seats were amazing and the night unforgettable.
The next day, when Parker got home from school, the first thing he did was ask me to set-up our little blow-up jumper out back so that he could use some of the wrestling moves that he had seen the night before on his two younger brothers. That is when we had to have "the talk." "The talk" to let him know that the wrestling moves were not real. They were all coroagraphed, like a dance. I didn't want him using his new moves on his little brothers and someone breaking a bone or losing a limb. It took a while for Parker to believe me. The evening was a huge hit for him nonetheless.
