An Evening with the Stars!!

 Every year RJ works in conjunction with Celebrity Fight Night, raising $10,000 for Cox Charities. And each year in return, Cox gets 2 tix for the event. We have been waiting 5 years to attend. the first 2 years the tix were taken by a couple of the girls Rj works with and their spouses. The 3rd year, we had the tix but gave them away because I was 8 mo. pregnant with Hayes. And last year, I was in the middle of a little event called LDS prom. So this year, we were so excited to FINALLY get to attend. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait. It was a star studded event with AMAZING entertainment that raises millions of dollars for Muhammad Ali's charity for Parkinson's disease. The dinner and atmosphere was just fabulous. We have been to big events before, but this was by far the top of the line, over the top, no holds barred, best event ever!!

Just to name a few of the celebrities that were there: Lee Greenwood began the evening by singing his song "proud to be an American" while a bald eagle flew around the ballroom. Reba McEntire was the MC for the evening. All the music entertainment was put together and hosted by David Foster. Billy Crystal introduced Muhammad Ali. Hally Berry was honored for her charity work. Matchbox 20, Kelly Clarkson, Bret Michales, Sinbad, the top 10 American Idol Finalists. & Kevin Costner with his band all performed. Other celebrities there that night were Kevin Sorbo, Larry Fitzgerald, & Bo Derek. The dinner was delish and the entertainment top notch. I was just blown away.
