4 CrAzY NIGHTS

Just like every year, we celebrate our Christmas week with our "Hanukkah's of Christmas." What does that mean?? That means we celebrate the season with night after night of parties.
The fun always starts with our "friends" party. This is our family along with The Hunt's, The Moore's, and The Slade's. We started this tradition with our friends back when all of us were just young married couples. Now when we get together, we have15 kids between us. The kids enjoy playing as the adults catch up & laugh. I am so grateful for this tradition and for my amazing friends that have stuck by us for the last 12 years.

We celebrate on the evening of the 23rd with RJ's Mom's side of the family. This year, RJ & I hosted the festivities. (pictures to come) We have a great time visiting, eating delicious food and having a hilarious white elephant gift exchange.

Christmas Eve is always spent with the Jensen side of the family. This year it was only us and Grammy & Grandpa. We went out to dinner...(which was a wonderful &b relaxing gift in and of itself). Then go back to Grammy & Grandpa's for dessert & gift exchange.

Hayes'ers LOVED the cupcakes for dessert
Easton got a new "Diary of a Wimpy Kid"
 Hat. His favorite books
I got my favorite...a bottle of coke
Davis was so excited, he celebrated with some
totally awesome dance moves.

Park got a new shirt.
( I seriously, don't know what he's doing in this picture...
or any of thepictures for that matter.)
After all that...we finally make it to Christmas night. This is when we get together with The Muller side of the family. We always meet at Dad & Holly's for a delicious dinner. We also do the traditional "Box Diving" Christmas. Coach Grandad & Grandma Holly buy way to many presents for each of there 7 grandsons and put them all in 1 ENORMOUS box. The kids each get a bag that they fill up with their presents. It is such a fun tradition. The boys LOVE it and look forward to it every year.
This year...the kids got some pretty funny gifts. Easton got corks, Davis got "Anti-monkey Butt powder." (Both of which I probably shouldn't explain on my blog...let's just say, you had to be there)
All in all, it was another wonderful Christmas season. We are very blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who love and support us. We are so grateful for them. We are also grateful for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are grateful for his birth and the amazing gift that is to us in our lives. We are grateful for this time of the year when we get to celebrate that with the people who matter most to us.
