Last weekend, Parker, Easton and Davis went on a roadtrip with Grammy & Grandpa Jensen to Central. They have been anticipating this weekend trip for a long time. You see, there cousin Bowen, (who is Parker's age), was showing & auctioning his pig at the Graham County Fair. My boys got to see the pig back in the spring when we visited Central for the temple open house & the pig was still a tiny piglet. So when they found out that Bowen was selling the pig at the fair, they were excited to go check it out.

Friday morning they headed down to Safford. Friday night they got to go to the fair and check out all the cool animals (cows, pigs, chickens, lambs, goats, & bunnies...just to name a few), eat yummy fair food, & hang out with their cousins.
Saturday morning they played and played and played. They played on the swing set, the trampoline and helped Bowen clean the Pig pen of pig #2. Then Saturday night they headed off to the fair again to see Bowen auction his pig. Most of the pigs went for $4.00-$5.00 a lb...Bowen's was the last pig of the night and got a price of $11.20 a lb. GOOD JOB BOWEN!!

The trip was short & sweet!! They were home by Saturday night. But they had a fabulous time with their cousins. We LOVE our Jensen cousins down in Central soooo much, and don't get down there to see them as much as we'd like too. Thanks Uncle Layne & Auntie Jane for the invite!! Thanks to Grammy & Grandpa for taking the boys down. They loved every minute of it.
