We've made it to "THE OTHER SIDE"

(OUR FAMILY IN 2004 WHEN RJ WAS CALLED INTO THE BISHOPRIC)
After serving in the Bishopric of the Apache Park Ward for the last 5 years 4 months and 5 days, RJ was released today as the first councilor when our entire Bishopric got re-organized.Not that I've been counting the days, it just coincidentally, RJ happened to be called into the Bishopric on the 10th anniversary of his baptism, so when he was called, is a date I will never forget.
When RJ got called to the Bishopric, we had 2 kids...Parker was 4 and Easton was 2. We lived in a different house and RJ had a different job. I now have 4 beautiful boys, 2 of which have never had the experience of having there father sit next to them at church. RJ has a job that he loves and we are in a house we intend to stay in till our kids are grown and gone.
After serving faithfully for 5 years to Bishop Comsa, I want RJ to know that I am so very proud of him!! Any of you that know RJ, know that he is a convert to the church, joining when he was 18. But I must say that through his hard work, example, and service to others, his love of Christ is more of an example to me, than I will ever be to him. I am one lucky girl to have gotten such an amazing and righteous man.
If any body would have told me that I would be sad when this day came, I would've called them a liar. But this last week that we have known his release was coming has been a little bitter-sweet. Don't get me wrong, I am very excited to have my husband's time back. But I have also seen AMAZING, COUNTLESS blessings come to our family through these years that he has served.
I am proud of the both of us, for making it through the last 5 years. It has definitely made our love stronger and our testimonies grow. I'm excited to see what the next chapter of our lives will be.

Wow, you are an amazing and supportive wife! It'll be great to have your hubby around now. RJ was a great member of the Bishopric, we were very impressed with him. Congrats!
