Every year, I have made it a tradition in our house to have a romantic Valentine's dinner for ALL my boys. I get Valentines plates, napkins, cups, and plastic wine glasses filled with apple cider and set a fancy table. I also get my boys there favorite dinner--PIZZA!
OK, so it's not really romantic but my boys love it. This year, my oldest, Parker, asked me as soon as I picked him up from school on Friday, "Mom, tonight are we having our Valentine's Dinner?"
They also get to open there little Valentine's gift from there Mom and I write each of them a personalized Valentine's card stating all the things I love about Just them. This year they each got a small stuffed animal, a huge heart shaped lollipop and a balloon (which they ended up beating each other with-boys will be boys). After dinner we enjoyed our Friday night, family movie night together and the boys ate Ice cream sundaes covered in fresh strawberry sauce and heart shaped brownie bites.

What a sweet tradition. You reminded me that I got my kids some treats and FORGOT to give them. What a slacker I am.
